Job summary

Making Space in Burnley is seeking a Social Inclusion Worker to join our Lancashire Supported Living Rehabilitation Service, Inspiring Minds. You will plan and run activities to support adults with mental health needs, learning disabilities and autistic spectrum conditions, helping them engage in daily life and social activities.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have an NVQ Level II (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards this.
• We support on-the-job training and opportunities for professional qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organise activities to support wellbeing of adults in our care.
• Encourage residents to participate in individual and group events and adapt activities as needs change.
• Coordinate logistics, manage resources, and ensure activities run smoothly and safely.
• Role may include lone working and 1-1 support in the community.
