A prestigious UK events organization is seeking a Social Events Team Assistant to support the Social Events Manager and assist with prestigious events like the Members’ Meeting and Festival of Speed. Are you a highly organised, detail-oriented person, looking for a role where high standards meet fun and ‘the wow’?

We are looking for someone fantastic to join the Executive Team as a Social Events Team Assistant. You will report to the Social Events Manager, within the fast-paced Executive Office, supporting The Duke of Richmond’s prestigious social calendar.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team behind world-class events such as the Members’ Meeting, Goodwoof, Festival of Speed, Revival, and exclusive private occasions. You’ll ensure The Duke’s personal guests receive a seamless, first-class experience from invitation through to event day.

What you’ll do
  • Assist with invitations and guest communications via email, phone, and face-to-face.
  • Help coordinate ticketing, parking, and other arrangements for VIP guests.
  • Support the team with hosting duties during events and evening functions.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure smooth event delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records in our CRM system and support general administrative tasks.
  • Represent The Duke and the Goodwood brand with professionalism and discretion.
What we’re looking for
  • Proven administrative experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to prioritise, multitask, and remain calm under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Must be able to work on weekends, bank holidays and evenings, in line with the events calendar.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and a sense of fun!

This is a zero hours, fixed term position.
