We’re growing fast and need a Social Content Editing Specialist to join our social team. This is your chance to step into a high-impact, hands-on role with tons of room to grow. You’ll be working across brands like Salon Privé, Modash, Nextbase and more, editing and shaping the kind of content you’d actually watch.

Your Role

We’re looking for an editor who lives and breathes social video. If you know how to turn raw clips into engaging Reels, TikToks and Shorts, this one’s for you.

Around 80% of your time will be spent editing performance-driven social content, with the remaining 20% supporting light lo-fi shoots and social team tasks. You’ll be the go-to for fast-turnaround edits and trend-led content, working closely with our social and strategy teams to make content people care about.

Your Core Responsibilities

• Editing Social first content for IG, TikTok, YouTube & LinkedIn
• Repurpose long-form footage into platform-specific shorts
• Add hooks, captions, subtitles and overlays with purpose
• Support lo-fi shooting days with team (on phone or Osmo)
• Help the social team with content ideation and scripting
• Jump on reactive edits or trend-led formats quickly
• Support light design work in Canva for carousels or visuals when needed
• Ensure edits align with platform best practices and brand voice
• Get involved with regular social strategy and roundup meetings.

What you need to have to be considered

• 2+ years of professional editing experience (freelance or agency)
• Confidence in Premiere Pro /or CapCut, with some After Effects skills
• Experience editing social-first video content
• Solid instincts for platform pacing, structure and trends
• Ability to shoot lo-fi content when needed (phone or mirrorless)
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and meeting deadlines
• Able to switch up styles relative to client audiences
• Able to work with social managers, strategists and other editors efficiently

Brownie Points if you have

• Understanding of AI tools and workflows to speed up your delivery
• Experience working in performance marketing or social-first agencies
• Strong Canva skills or an eye for visual design
• Comfort being in or around content shoots (studio or on-location)
• Familiarity with tools like Frame.io, Meta Suite, and Notion
