Job summary

CMC Markets is seeking a highly creative Social Media Manager & Content Creator to lead the end-to-end execution of our social media strategy across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and X. You will generate ideas, film, edit and publish content daily, turning markets, products and brand moments into accessible, audience-first content.

The role is hands-on, not a scheduling position, with a focus on storytelling, culture, and timely financial market commentary.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in social/content (brand or personal).
• Strong filming + editing skills with storytelling ability.
• Excellent social copywriting for X and LinkedIn; thread writing and market commentary.
• Deep understanding of modern platform mechanics and formats.
• Ability to simplify complex topics into engaging content.
• Interest in trading, investing, or financial markets; fast learner.

Responsibilities

• Create and produce high-quality social-first content across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and X, including filming, editing and on-camera work.
• Create engaging content around financial markets, sports sponsorships, brand and cultural moments.
• Own social content strategy and planning, including the content calendar and cross-team collaboration.
• Execute campaigns, product launches and sponsorship activations, working with athletes, partners, creators and internal teams.
• Manage social channels and communities, post, engage, track trends and ensure regulatory/brand compliance.
• Track and optimise performance using insights to improve formats and content effectiveness.
