Job summary

Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council is seeking a dedicated person to provide personal care, emotional and practical support to residents in a Registered Care Home setting. The role supports older people, individuals with dementia, and adults with learning or physical disabilities in a homely environment, promoting rights, dignity, independence and wellbeing.

You will need to demonstrate that you meet essential qualifications; Welsh language ability is desirable.

Job description

To provide personal care, emotional and practical support to people with identified care and support needs within a Registered Care Home setting.

This includes older people, people with a diagnosis of dementia and/or adults with a learning or physical disability within an environment that enables supports and maintains a homely atmosphere ensuring that the rights, dignity, diversity, independence, and wellbeing of individuals are promoted and maintained.
