  • Providing personal care – including bathing, toileting, dressing and help with feeding.
  • Medication administration.
  • Assisting and getting involved in residents’ daily activities, hobbies or outings.
  • Following care plan guidance alongside company policies and procedures.
  • Developing an open, honest, and considerate working relationship with residents.
  • Maintaining written daily records.
  • Attending and completing training, as required.

Where you will work

Compton House, near Winchester, is an eleven‑bedroom residential home for residents of varied ages with learning disabilities and complex needs, including those who are non‑verbal. Residents receive 24‑hour support and have access to our in‑house Positive Behaviour Support Team. Structured activity programmes such as ‘LD Club’, ‘Sensory for All’ and cycling are offered to maximise independence and enable residents to achieve their individual goals at their own pace. The home provides local transport for shopping and leisure as well as trips further afield.

Training & Development
  • Learning Academy – Adult Care Worker Level 2 and Lead Adult Care Worker Level 3 qualifications for all staff.
  • Complex in‑house training, including our Advanced Management Development Programme for managers and the Foundation Management Development Programme for rising stars.
  • Minimum service periods and apprenticeship funding eligibility apply to certain benefits.
