Job summary

The Scottish Prison Service is seeking a Social Care Strategy Lead to provide strategic leadership, direction and oversight of SPS policy areas in social care and wellbeing interventions within our care population.

You will collaborate with Directorates, Establishments, Scottish Government and partner agencies to develop and implement policy and interventions that maximise engagement and support reintegration into the community.

Responsibilities

• Strategic leadership of SPS policy areas in social care and wellbeing interventions within care populations.
• Collaborate with Directorates, Establishments, Scottish Government and partner agencies to develop and implement policy and interventions.
• Oversee delivery scoping and link with the project Policy manager; role is fixed-term and may be offered on secondment.
