Job description
Overview

Please note this is not a Swansea city council job. You will be working with a private client who received direct payments.

A little about myself: I am a bubbly young boy who is looking for energetic and enthusiastic individuals to take me out and about. I have ASD and a learning disability and will need someone who is patient and understanding who will listen very carefully when I try to communicate. I have some limited speech but will always make sure you know how I feel and what I need. I love music and will need access to my phone or headphones to play my music at all times to help me stay regulated. I enjoy walks, love animals and love going out for food. I\'m not a big fan of noisy, enclosed spaces where my hearing can become overstimulated. I love to laugh and have a cheeky sense of humour. I can sometimes be shy, and need encouraging to enter new places or engage with new people. I am afraid of dogs but have been working on this and can now be relatively close to them as long as they are on leads. If they run towards me, I can become scared and run in the opposite direction even if this is near a road. I will need someone to support me with danger awareness at all times.
