Job summary

A local council's recruitment team is seeking a committed Social Care Co-ordinator to join the Enquiry team. This role involves leading day-to-day management and responding to urgent inquiries while promoting an inclusive environment. Ideal candidates will have an NVQ Level 3 qualification and experience in social care. This position is based in Sandwell, working 37 hours per week.

Job description

We are looking for a committed and values-driven Social Care Co-ordinator to join our Enquiry team on a permanent basis. This role is key to delivering an enhanced customer experience that promotes wellbeing for local residents in their communities.

Location: Sandwell
Hours: 37 hours per week

Service Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 9:00am – 5:30pm
Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day management of the team, ensuring high standards of practice, quality, and performance.
  • Respond promptly to urgent enquiries, including safeguarding alerts.
  • Carry out specific duties as directed by the line manager to support the team’s objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with the Team Manager to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Promote effective partnership working and service integration.
  • Provide supervision and support to team members.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
