Job summary

TESTQ Technologies LTD. is seeking a SOC Security Architect to design, implement and support advanced endpoint security strategies onsite for a major client in London.

The contract role demands hands-on expertise with EDR, NGFW, SIEM, vulnerability management, and Windows server environments, plus strong collaboration across IT, security and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of endpoint security, EDR, and next-generation firewalls.
• Experience with Windows OS and Windows Server/Desktop.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management and logging standards.
• Experience with SIEM operations and TCP/IP networking.
• Ability to troubleshoot endpoint security installation issues.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain endpoint security agents, AV, encryption, and firewall.
• Resolve incidents related to endpoint security.
• Update playbooks and documentation for new tools.
• Ensure compliance across assets with multiple frameworks.
• Tuning and reducing false positives in DLP.
• Collaborate with other teams to remediate vulnerabilities.
• Troubleshoot endpoint security installations on Windows.

• Deploy and maintain endpoint security agents AV Encryption Firewall etc
• Resolve incidents for all endpoint security agents AV Encryption Firewall etc
• Update process and playbook documentation as new tools and standards are implemented
• Ensure compliance across all assets with multiple security frameworks
• Ensure compliance across all assets against security standards
• Respond and resolve DLP s and tune out false positives
• Create maintain and service rules in privilege management solution
• Ensure all assets are meeting logging standards
• Collaborates with the responsible areas to develop effective remediation plans to track vulnerabilities to completion
• Client needs a person to troubleshoot endpoint security installation issues with windows etc
