Nationwide Platforms Ltd. in the UK is recruiting an IT SOC Engineer to join our IT Security team at our Head Office in Lutterworth.

The role focuses on developing and maintaining SOC tooling, including Splunk SIEM and a SOAR platform, to improve logging, monitoring and threat response across the business. You will work closely with IT and business functions across operating countries, deliver use-case driven dashboards, and support incident response and threat intelligence activities within a

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and maintaining SOC tooling and SIEM use cases.
• Strong understanding of security operations and incident response processes.
• Proven ability to implement and tune SIEM/SOAR solutions in large environments.
• Knowledge of threat intelligence and MITRE ATT&CK framework.

Responsibilities

• Develop content for a complex SIEM/SOAR infrastructure with dashboards and rules.
• Administer and operate the SIEM platform and monitor log health.
• Analyze security and application logs to form threat scenarios.
• Translate threat intelligence into actionable security controls.
• Support incident tracking and cross-team resolution.
• Create use cases, analytics, and playbooks for the SOC.
