Job summary

Motorway in London is seeking a hands-on Cyber Security Analyst to join our Security team and protect our systems, users and cloud environments.

You will own routine investigations and collaborate with IT and Engineering to resolve incidents across Security Operations, incident response, vulnerability management and cloud security, with opportunities to develop expertise across platforms like SIEM, EDR/XDR and related tooling.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience within Cyber Security or SOC environments.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR and cloud security tools.
• Good understanding of incident triage and investigation.
• Knowledge of Windows/Linux and major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
• Able to manage routine investigations with escalation when needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, triage and investigate security alerts across SIEM, EDR, CrowdStrike and other platforms.
• Investigate suspicious endpoint, email, identity and cloud activity and support incident response.
• Analyse logs and IOC indicators to identify threats.
• Support vulnerability management and remediation tracking.
• Maintain investigation records, tickets and runbooks.
• Collaborate with Security, IT, Engineering and Cloud teams to resolve issues.
