A multinational telecommunications company is seeking a Commercial Lead to manage the profitability of the VSA contract. Role purpose: Responsible for the Commercial/Operational relationship and profitability for the VSA contract between VFUK JV and Vodafone Group relating to fixed connectivity. This highly complex role will lead relationship discussions with the JV at a senior level, ensuring that the service supports the JV sales ambitions and delivers profitable business for VBI Carrier.
This will mean understanding the JV’s requirements, the commercial and pricing models, operational process and the needs to their major end customers. The Commercial Lead will work with the JV on bids, ensuring that we maximise the win rate to grow the business between us.
The Commercial Lead will liaise with teams from Group Networks on secure customers and with Group Products and Services to understand changes in Group Products.
Manage the ‘Secure Services’ inventory, including pricing and governance. These high value services must be treated with the appropriate confidentiality. Own the relationship with the Secure team within Vodafone UK.
Ensure that the business processes that underpin this new service are optimised for efficiency and effectiveness. This will involve co-ordination with FinOps, Inventory Team, VBTS and Carrier Services.
