Job summary

Deloitte in London is seeking an experienced Snowflake Solution Architect to shape data and AI transformation programmes. You will lead architecture delivery for enterprise-scale Snowflake deployments, partner with clients, and guide multidisciplinary teams to deliver secure, scalable data cloud solutions.

The role requires deep expertise in Snowflake, data modeling, governance, security, and collaboration with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent preferred.
• Proven experience leading the architecture of enterprise-grade data transformation programmes and delivering production-grade Snowflake solutions.
• Strong experience defining enterprise solution and data architectures, including managing technical teams and stakeholder relationships.
• Experience leading client discovery, architecture assessments and technology strategy workshops with senior stakeholders.
• Experience acting as Architecture Lead or Design Authority across complex transformation programmes, providing architecture governance and technical assurance.
• Deep domain expertise in scalable data models within regulated or data-rich industries, including legacy migrations or post-merger integrations.
• SnowPro Core certification is mandatory.
• Experience applying reusable architecture patterns, reference architectures or accelerators across delivery engagements

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture delivery across high-impact transformation programmes, including integrations and legacy data migrations.
• Provide architectural oversight across the delivery lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
• Design scalable, secure Snowflake solutions covering ingestion, modelling, governance, security, and consumption.
• Establish architecture principles, standards and design guardrails; review key decisions to ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Assess emerging Data Cloud capabilities and recommend improvements to client architectures.
• Guide cross-functional engineering teams, promote reusable patterns and share best practices.
• Lead architecture discovery workshops with clients and govern design authority throughout delivery.
• Translate architecture into technical delivery with backlog shaping and non-functional requirements.
• Contribute to reusable Snowflake patterns, reference architectures and accelerators.
• Support technology strategy, roadmap development and cloud adoption discussions.
• Assist in solution proposals, estimates and client presentations with architecture input.
