Job summary

Fractal Analytics is seeking a Snowflake Data Engineer for a 3-month fixed-term contract in London with hybrid work (onsite 2 days per week). The role focuses on building data models and pipelines in Snowflake, migrating programme use cases, and collaborating with Data Scientists to validate model performance.

Experience with Snowflake ML, PySpark, and DBT is essential. The candidate will manage the migration from Pre-Prod to Prod, support PoC phases, and document findings during the transition,

Qualifications

• Must have Snowflake & Snowflake ML experience.
• DBT experience would be advantageous.
• Migrate programme use cases in Snowflake Pre-Prod to Prod.
• Support PoC migration phase with Data Scientists.
• Transform PySpark for the use cases during migration.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to ensure models function.
• Document performance, findings, and observations.
• Support cutover and warranty period issue tracking.

Responsibilities

• Build data models and pipelines in Snowflake.
• Leverage Snowflake frameworks to construct scalable models.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to ensure models function.
• Standardise data pipeline builds and resolve issues.
• Assist with PySpark pipeline improvements and best practices.
• Provide warranty period support and issue tracking.
