Job summary

Sanderson Recruitment Plc is seeking an experienced Data Architect (Snowflake) to lead the data architecture and strategy for a major cloud-first transformation in London or across the country. You will design and evolve a modern Snowflake-based data platform, collaborating with Data Engineering, Governance, Product Owners and business stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions.

Qualifications

Strong commercial experience as a Data Architect/Data Solutions Architect.
Deep Snowflake experience is essential.
Strong understanding of modern data architecture, data modelling and cloud data platforms.
Experience with Data Products, Data Governance and modern data engineering practices.
Experience within a transformation programme and moving from immature data environment to modern data capability.

Responsibilities

Own and shape the Data Architecture and Data Strategy, defining how data is used across the organisation.
Design and evolve a Snowflake-based data platform across data products, governance and integration.
Collaborate with Data Engineering, Data Governance, Product Owners and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
Horizon-scan emerging technologies and identify opportunities to leverage AI, Snowflake Cortex and modern data capabilities.
Establish architecture standards, patterns and principles to build the data capability from the ground up.
