Job summary

Adecco is recruiting for a Snowflake Data Architect on-site at Wembley, London. The role demands strong Snowflake design, data modelling, governance, and cross-cloud data pipelines. You'll liaise with Business Analysts to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.

Day rate range 600-700 per day. 5 days a week on-site, UK-based, with exposure to AI-ready architectures and cost-aware data operations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Data Engineering or Data Architecture with Snowflake expertise.
• Strong SQL and Python skills; experience with dbt or equivalent.
• Experience with data governance, data modelling (Star/Snowflake), and data contracts.
• Experience with cross-cloud data pipelines (AWS/Azure) and data security (RBAC, masking).
• Ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define Snowflake data models using Star Schema and Snowflake hierarchies.
• Design secure, high-throughput pipelines across AWS S3 and Azure APIs.
• Own Snowflake governance including RBAC, masking, and audit logging.
• Monitor and optimize Snowflake credits; implement cost-aware scheduling.
• Architect data stores for LLMs with vector stores and RAG-ready structures.
• Define Data Contracts with Business Analysts for clear interfaces.
