Job summary

Safran in Cwmbran, South Wales is seeking an experienced SMS Reporting Officer to lead safety risk identification and reporting across our products and operations, in a hybrid role focused on delivering safe, reliable solutions to customers worldwide.

You will analyse data, coordinate investigations, and produce insights for senior leadership, driving continuous improvement to strengthen our safety culture and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience of safety in a compliance, quality, operational, engineering, or regulated environment.
• Ability to analyse information, identify trends, and make practical recommendations.
• Strong communication skills to engage colleagues at all levels.
• Experience preparing reports and presenting findings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support activities identifying safety risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate investigations into safety events and track actions.
• Monitor safety performance and produce leadership reports.
