• Ability to maintain and diagnose mechanical & electrical systems.
• CSCS Card is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside engineers servicing smoke ventilation projects.
• Ensure compliance with BS9999 and building regulations.
• Physically check and undertake remedial work as required.

Established for over 20 years, Marlowe Smoke Control are specialists in the supply, installation and maintenance of Smoke Ventilation Systems UK Wide. We are looking for a Service Engineer to work at our sites as a key member of our service and commissioning team. You will work alongside other engineers servicing smoke ventilation projects on site, ensuring compliance with BS9999 and the building regulations. this will be based in the midlands. What are we looking for? We need a motivated and detail-oriented Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience servicing smoke ventilation projects, ensuring compliance and building regulations.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritise and multitask
• Self‑motivated and ambitious
• Understanding or experience of electrical control systems
• Able to work as part of an experienced team of engineers
• Experience of software‑based controls systems, and an ability to write and update system software (or willing to work towards achieving this)
• An ability to physically check, maintain and diagnose mechanical & electrical systems and undertake remedial work when required
• Understanding of electrical circuits within control panels
• An ability to problem‑solve, think outside the box and provide thorough solutions
• Site experience, ideally holding a CSCS Card
• You will have a methodical and practical attitude and good attention to detail
• Candidates will be required to have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Beneficial (not essential)

• 18th Edition Electrical qualification or other recognised electrical qualification.
• Site experience, ideally holding a CSCS Card.
• Experience working at height.
