Job title: SME Account Handler

Salary: 35000

Location: Kent

Purpose of Role

Our client is looking to add an experienced SME Account Handler to their team. This role involves managing e-traded commercial insurance accounts fostering strong client relationships and supporting business growth with opportunities to work with specialised schemes.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships providing tailored insurance solutions and acting as the primary point of contact for advice and support
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking referrals and market insights generating leads and successfully closing opportunities
  • Manage policy renewals negotiate competitive terms with insurers and regularly review client portfolios to reflect changes in risk or business activities
  • Ensure full compliance with FCA regulations and Consumer Duty obligations providing guidance to clients and maintaining accurate documentation
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery contribute to team objectives and share insights and best practices to improve outcomes
  • Stay informed on market trends industry developments and regulatory changes maintaining strong relationships with insurers brokers and key industry contacts
  • Deliver high standards of service consistently proactively addressing client needs and ensuring client satisfaction across all interactions
Day-to-Day
  • Manage a portfolio of SME clients providing tailored insurance solutions
  • Conduct policy reviews and advise on risk management
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
