Yorkshire Water is seeking a Smart Metering Contract and Delivery Manager in Leeds with hybrid working. The role will oversee the AMP8 meter rollout with partners, ensuring cost, quality and timely delivery across 1.4 million meters. It requires strong contract management, leadership and governance capabilities within a regulated utility context.

You will manage a programme team, drive continuous improvement, and maintain high safety standards while delivering value to customers.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Smart Metering/Contract Management within utilities.
• Ability to manage multiple contract partners and drive KPI performance.
• Proven leadership of large programmes and teams.
• Strong governance and risk management capabilities.
• Budget awareness and cost control in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AMP8 smart metering contract and meter installations.
• Own and manage rollout plan with partners to meet KPI and deliverables.
• Implement project governance frameworks and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to maintain budget and schedule.
• Lead continuous improvement and lessons learned across the programme.
• Ensure health and safety standards across all activities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with contract partners.
