Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Qualified Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer to join the Revenue Protection team in Scotland. You will attend domestic and commercial properties, investigate smart meter alerts, and resolve safety issues.

You will engage with customers during pre-warrant and warrant appointments, discuss repayment options, and install or exchange meters as needed. The role requires CMA1/CCN1, MET1, and MOCOPA certifications, with enhanced vetting and access to customers’ homes.

Qualifications

• Qualified Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer
• Hold CMA1/CCN1 or equivalent
• Hold MET1
• Hold MOCOPA (single phase, single off multi, multi rate)
• Previous experience as a Smart Meter Engineer
• 3-Phase and Medium pressure qualifications desirable but not essential
• Ability to undergo enhanced security vetting
• Access to customers’ homes
• Clear communication, flexibility and resilience
• Team-focused approach

Responsibilities

• Represent the Revenue Protection team by attending domestic and commercial properties
• Investigate and resolve smart meter alerts and safety issues
• Engage with customers at pre-warrant and warrant appointments
• Discuss repayment options and agree suitable resolutions
• Install and exchange smart meters when required
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all outcomes are compliant
