Job summary

GAP Hire Solutions is seeking a Small Tools Fitter to service and maintain a range of small tools including 2/4 stroke petrol tools and a variety of electrical tools to ensure customers can hire what they need, when they need it.

You will join a busy depot and be able to demonstrate a mechanical or electrical qualification (or time served), plus experience servicing petrol and diesel contractor tools, testing electrical tools, and a PAT certificate.

Qualifications

• A relevant mechanical/electrical qualification (or time served).
• Significant experience in petrol and diesel contractor tools servicing and maintenance.
• Proven ability to test and run electrical tools.
• Current PAT testing certificate.
• A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain a variety of small tools including petrol and electrical tools.
• Ensure tools are ready for hire and meet safety standards for customers.
• Adhere to depot processes and safety guidelines.

Skills

Mechanical/electrical qualification

Experience with petrol/diesel tools

Electrical tool testing

PAT testing certificate

Driving licence preferred
