Veterinary Surgeon - Mixed/ Small Animal – Lampeter

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mixed/Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a proudly independent, well-established practice in the heart of Lampeter. The practice offers a truly mixed workload, with a focus on beef, sheep, and some dairy, alongside companion animal work. The role has been created due to ongoing expansion, reflecting the success and growth of the practice. You will be joining a compassionate, experienced team of seven long-standing vets, supported by a dedicated group of veterinary nurses, animal nursing assistants, and administrative staff, who all work collaboratively to deliver the very best outcomes for their patients.

This opportunity is open to both Small Animal and Mixed Veterinary Surgeons, and the team welcomes applications from all career stages – from enthusiastic new graduates to experienced clinicians. There is dedicated mentoring available for new graduates as well as certificate support for those wishing to pursue advanced skills, ensuring that your professional growth is always encouraged. The practice is also open to any rota requests, with a genuine focus on creating flexibility that works for you.

The practice prides itself on providing its own out-of-hours service, giving clients the reassurance of continuity of care. As part of this rota, you’ll receive a generous standby fee as well as payment for any additional hours worked.
