Overview

Directorate: Children and Family Services
Section: Children's Social Care
Grade: Level 9

The full-time salary is £36,363 - £39,152 (full time) plus allowances as determined by home worked in (including weekend working allowance, 12.5% shift allowance and sleep-in payments). These allowances will be paid as appropriate and reviewed periodically.

Hours: Average of 37 hours per week. You will work on a rota which includes evenings, weekends and bank holidays, and you may be required to sleep in when rostered to do so.

Role: Stoke on Trent City Council is seeking passionate and committed workers to join small group homes. You will work with a team to support a manager in running the home to achieve the best possible outcomes for our children, and you should have the resilience to handle complex situations and flexible approaches to support a group of staff managing complex behaviours.

You will join an excellent team of managers who will support you with training, development and induction to ensure you are ready for the challenges.
