Job summary

Vetted Recruitment Limited – The Clinical Recruiter is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join a modern, purpose-designed practice in Dorset. The role involves a varied small animal first-opinion caseload with opportunities in soft tissue surgery and medicine, in a supportive team.

You will work with digital X-ray, ultrasound and an in-house laboratory, supported by a caring nursing and client care team. No out-of-hours work, and a Saturday rota is in place.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in small animal practice.
• Comfortable working sole charge when needed.
• Confident in both medical and surgical cases.
• Strong client communication and care standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied small animal first-opinion caseload
• Perform routine soft tissue surgeries
• Conduct medical examinations and treatments
• Utilize digital X-ray, ultrasound and in-house lab
• Work with a supportive nursing and client care team
• Participate in Saturday work on a rota basis
• No out-of-hours work
