Salary up to £70,000 per annum, depending on experience

???? The Opportunity
We’re currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established, two-site, RCVS-accredited and ISFM-registered small animal practice. The role is ideally suited to a Veterinary Surgeon with a minimum 2–3+ years of post-qualification experience, but full support is provided.

You’ll be confident in routine consults and surgery for your experience level. Longer consults are allocated for complex cases and end-of-life discussions, and 15-minute appointments are standard, allowing for proper treatment planning and communication.

Working Hours & Rota
Full-time preferred, but hours are negotiable

Standard hours: 8:15am–6:00pm

1-hour protected lunch break (no interruptions!)

Time during the day allocated for case development, admin, and client communication

Weekends:

1 in 4 rota:

Saturday: Consults 8:15am–11:00am & 2:30pm–4:00pm

Sunday: Inpatient checks only (if needed – nurse support on site)

Tuesday off in lieu following a weekend worked – guaranteed

Out-of-Hours:

OOH covered by VetsNow

1 in 4 weeknight cover for inpatients only, primarily phone support for the nurse staying overnight
