Job summary

Market Veterinary Centre in Barnstaple, Devon seeks a Veterinary Surgeon (Small Animal) to join a friendly, supportive team. The role offers a mix of consultations, surgeries and a chance to work across locations in North Devon. You’ll be supported with ongoing CPD and career development in a well-equipped practice.

The position is full-time, with a four- or five-day week, on-site work, and a generous benefits package including relocation support and a welcome bonus. DOE, up to £60,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Qualified Veterinary Surgeon specialising in small animal care.
• Willingness to provide high-quality clinical service and client communication.
• Ability to work in a busy practice with a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out consultations and surgical procedures for small animals.
• Contribute to clinical skills and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Support outreach and provide flexible working arrangements as needed.
