Job summary

Lockwood Vets, Hednesford, part of Inspiring Vet Care, is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join on a permanent basis.

You will work in a sole-charge friendly practice with 15-minute consultations, a varied surgical caseload and opportunities to handle emergencies, with flexible full-time or part-time hours and no on-call requirements.

Competitive package includes up to £75,000 DOE, welcome bonus up to £7,500 pro rata, relocation support up to £5,000 and a range of benefits.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.

You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.

At Hednesford, you'll benefit from a balanced workload with 15-minute consultations, a varied surgical caseload and the opportunity to work up medical cases and emergencies.

• 15-minute consultations
• No more than 18 appointments per day per vet on average
• Daily surgical procedures including neutering and dentistry
• Dedicated operating time every day
• Flexibility to accommodate emergency procedures when required
