About the Opportunity

My client has a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join a great team in Chingford area. They are looking for an experienced vet with a few years in practice, including a minimum of one year working within the UK. The successful candidate will bring a real passion for early diagnostics, a commitment to delivering and following through on treatment plans, and an enthusiasm for continual professional growth. You’ll be responsible for providing preventative healthcare, diagnosing and treating a variety of medical conditions, and ensuring every case is managed with care and consistency. A genuine dedication to animal wellbeing is essential, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a supportive, close-knit team of clinical and non-clinical colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide preventative healthcare services.
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions.
  • Ensure every case is managed with care and consistency.

Work Hours & Schedule
  • Full‑time Veterinary Surgeons typically work a four‑day week, including a regular day off to support a healthy work‑life balance.
  • Each shift lasts nine hours and offers a varied mix of consulting and surgical duties throughout the week.
  • Each day includes a dedicated hour for administrative tasks to stay organised and focused.
  • Weekend work follows a one‑in‑four rota pattern.
  • They understand that flexibility matters and are happy to discuss alternative schedules or working arrangements.
