Job summary

The Vet Service is seeking an experienced Small Animal Vet Surgeon for a four-day, 40-hour week in Greater London. You will handle detailed medical work-ups, complex cases, and diagnostic imaging with access to ultrasound and modern lab facilities.

Applicants should have a minimum of three years post-graduate experience and a strong interest in internal medicine. The role offers substantial CPD opportunities and comprehensive professional support.

Qualifications

• Qualified MRCVS with at least three years post-grad experience.
• Strong interest or experience in internal medicine.
• Enhanced ultrasonography skills desirable.
• Confident managing consultations, medical work-ups and second-opinion cases.
• Collaborative approach with high clinical standards.

Responsibilities

• Consult on complex medical investigations and second-opinion cases.
• Assist with diagnostic imaging and work-ups.
• Provide referrals and coordinate with a nearby 24-hour hospital as needed.
• Participate in a four-day, 40-hour rota with shared weekends and on-call duties.
