Job summary

Gordon Vets in Musselburgh, near Edinburgh, is seeking a veterinary surgeon for a full-time temporary role. You will join a well-established team across three branches and provide high-quality patient and client care in a collaborative environment.

The role offers a 4-day week, ~40 hours, and a 1-in-7 weekend rota with LOA for time off in lieu. RCVS registration and passion for animal health are essential assets.

Qualifications

• Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS.
• Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Work-life balance is important, role is a 4 day week around 40 hours.
• Weekend rota is 1 in 7 weekends, with hours 8am/9am–3pm.
• Time off in lieu is provided after a weekend worked.
