Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist for Avon Park School in Rugby. The role is four days a week, on site, delivering therapeutic support to pupils with complex needs within a multi-disciplinary team.

You will work with education and residential colleagues, using clinical assessment to plan individualised interventions and contribute to a living and learning environment that promotes wellbeing and positive outcomes for young people.

Qualifications

• Be a qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC.
• Be a specialist with proven skills and experience to engage and deliver therapeutic interventions with children and young people with complex needs.
• Experience of supporting teams around a child or young person to ensure they are being provided with clinically informed living and learning environments and experiences.

Responsibilities

• Support educational and residential colleagues to provide therapeutic living and learning environments based on clinical assessment and formulation.
• Offer individualised interventions and engagement to our young people.
