Job summary

Pertemps Bond is currently recruiting a reliable Cleaner to work at the Royal Mail site in Slough. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the site, creating a safe and tidy working environment for all staff. The role can be performed independently or as part of a team.

Location: Slough DO, 15 Wexham Road, SL1 1AA. Working hours: Monday to Saturday 10:00-13:00. Duration: Until 31/12/2026. Start: ASAP. Training provided on site.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or janitorial work preferred but on-site training will be provided.
• Must have a strong work ethic and be able to follow schedules.
• Punctuality and reliability are essential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the site, ensuring a safe, tidy and pleasant working environment for all staff. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and can work independently as well as part of a team.

Your Role

• Clean operational areas including sorting floors, staff rest areas, toilets, and offices.
• Maintain high cleanliness standards in high-traffic environments.
• Follow COSHH and Health & Safety procedures at all times.
• Complete routine cleaning checklists and report site needs.
• Work as part of a cleaning team or independently across large areas.

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential training to be provided on site for the right candidate.
• A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow cleaning schedules and instructions.
• Reliability and good timekeeping.
