Ideal Candidate Requirements

We welcome applications from individuals who have some or all of the following qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out slinging and signalling duties safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret lift plans, ensuring they are executed correctly.
• Ensure safe lifting operations, working closely with the Line Manager, Appointed Person, and Crane Supervisor.
• Conduct pre-use inspections and maintenance of lifting accessories.
• Identify and remove any damaged or defective lifting equipment from service.
• Use BS7121 and LOLER/PUWER regulations to maintain safe lifting practices.
• Establish clear communication and agreed signalling methods before commencing lifts.

What We’re Looking For

We welcome applications from individuals who have some or all of the following:

• CPCS A40B (All Duties) trained
• 2-5 years’ experience working with mobile cranes as a Slinger/Signaller
• Familiarity with BS7121, LOLER & PUWER regulations
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow safety procedures
