Job summary

Blu Tech consulting is seeking an experienced Slinger for a Bridgend, South Wales project on a new build college site. Immediate start with a unitised curtain wall system installation and mandatory CPCS/NPORS certification.

The role requires precise lifting operations, radio communication with the crane driver, and slinging of curtain walls to gantries across multiple levels. Expect 6-8 months of work on site with potential for extension.

Qualifications

• CPCS or NPORS card required.
• Experience with sling loading and unitised curtain walls.
• Ability to coordinate with crane driver via radio.

Job description

Our client a London based Commercial Glazing contractor currently seek an experienced Slinger for one of thier projects in Bridgend, South Wales.

The work itself is a new build college and they are installing a unitised curtain wall system.

It is essential that you hold a CPCS or NPORS card can provide recent references for similar work undertook.

Duties will include:

• Tying lifts with straps and chains
• Clear and concise communication skills with Crane driver over the radio
• Slinging unitised Curtain walls to gantry's on various levels
• Lifting of plant and materials
• All other associated tasks as instructed

This is an immediate start for the right candidate and will be circa 6-8 months work
