Job summary

Pilgrim's Pride, Corsham is recruiting a Slicing Production Operative to join our food manufacturing site in Corsham. You will slice and prepare meat products on high-speed machinery, ensuring correct thickness, weight and packing readiness.

The role requires careful attention to hygiene in a high-care chilled environment. Working hours are Mon-Fri or any 5 of 7, 06:00-14:00, 40 hours per week with a fully paid 40-minute break.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
• Numeracy and literacy appropriate for the role.
• Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-speed slicing machines to portion meats.
• Load bulk products and set precise thickness and weight.
• Check sliced packs for correct weight and appearance.
• Monitor machinery to reduce giveaways and maintain hygiene.
• Prepare products for packing on the line.
