Position:

  • Job Title: Skills Coach - Customer Service
  • Location: Face to Face delivery in Durham
  • Salary: Up to £30,000
  • Working days: Monday to Friday (08:30-17:00)

We are looking for an experienced and motivational Customer Service expert to join our team to support learners in achieving their Customer Services qualifications, with engaging and inspiring face to face delivery in Durham.

As a Skills Coach with Babington, you will be responsible for coaching and mentoring learners working towards the successful and timely achievement of their learning programme, whilst creating and maintaining cohesive and communicative relationships with learners and employers. You will use your exceptional teaching and learning experience to provide blended academic and pastoral advice, guidance and support, ensuring a safe and conducive working environment, whilst delivering excellence CS face to face training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and facilitate interactive, immersive & engaging interactions including 121 sessions, group sessions in person in Durham
  • Adapt our learning journey blueprint (where required) to fulfil the requirements of our clients, learners and stakeholders
  • Provide quality training to enrich and compliment the customer experience
  • Provide in-depth coaching and mentoring support and advice throughout the learning journey
  • Support with preparation for End Point Assessment through an effective use of coaching frameworks
  • Promote and embed Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding, British Values, Prevent and Health and Safety to all learning sessions
  • Compile and maintain all learner documentation on the relevant e-portfolio system
Requirements
  • Grade A-C GCSE in English and Maths or equivalent
  • Customer Service qualification or substantive customer service experience
  • Level 3 Award in Education & Training (or equivalent) qualification
  • Level 3 Assessor qualification (CAVA/TAQA) would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of the Awarding Organisations, End Point Assessment and other regulatory arrangements
  • Strong understanding of apprenticeship standards and end-point assessment criteria
  • Experience managing learner caseloads and delivering against performance targets
  • Excellent communication, time management, and digital delivery skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting learners and helping them achieve their goals
