Job summary

Smart 1 Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Factory Operative for a specialist manufacturing and insulation company in Worcester. The role focuses on operating machinery and supporting production processes.

Applicants should have prior machine-operating experience. Duties include following drawings and performing quality checks. Hours are 7am-3.30pm with pay £12.77-£14.50 per hour; overtime is available and the position offers a temporary-to-permanent path.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic maths for measurements and calculations.
• Ability to work in a team and also independently.

Responsibilities

• Run machinery and assist with the production process.
• Operate cutting, polishing and finishing machinery safely.
• Use hand tools and specialist equipment to shape and finish surfaces.
• Follow production drawings, specifications and work instructions.
