Job summary

Greencore, Boston site, is seeking a Senior Operator to support and run the production line, ensuring safe, high-quality output. You will operate machinery, monitor processes, and help the team hit daily targets.

Full training will be provided; prior food manufacturing experience is essential, especially with salads or fresh produce. The role offers training, development opportunities, and a strong benefits package including pension and life insurance, with shift patterns 6am-6pm and 6am-6pm on

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food manufacturing is essential, preferably with salads or fresh produce.
• Experience operating or supervising production machinery or production lines.
• Good verbal, written, and numerical skills.
• Flexible approach to shifts and willingness to work across departments if required.
• A proactive, responsible attitude with a focus on quality, safety, and teamwork.

• Training and mentoring new operatives, sharing knowledge of machinery and line processes.
• Carrying out any other reasonable tasks as directed by the line manager.

Pay Rate -£13.97 per hour

What you'll be doing:

The Senior Operator will play a key role in supporting and running the production line, ensuring products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. You will operate machinery, monitor production processes, and support your team in meeting daily targets. This role goes beyond basic production and provides the opportunity to develop your technical skills on the line. Full training will be provided.
