Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) is assisting our client in Nottinghamshire for a full-time permanent Plumber position at the client site in Whatton. Responsibilities include repairs, installations, fault finding, and ensuring compliance with UK safety standards.

Ideal candidates will have proven plumbing experience, knowledge of UK regulations, and the ability to read basic plans. NVQ/City & Guilds are desirable; a valid driving licence is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a plumber with fault-finding and repair skills.
• Knowledge of UK plumbing systems and relevant regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret basic plumbing plans and drawings.
• Competence with common plumbing tools and equipment.
• Attention to detail and high standard of work.
• Good communication with customers and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing repairs and installations across domestic and commercial properties.
• Diagnose faults efficiently and complete remedial work to a high standard.
• Install, maintain, and repair pipework, taps, showers, toilets, and related systems.
• Undertake maintenance tasks including leak detection and system checks.
• Ensure work complies with UK regulations, safety standards and best practice.
• Complete job documentation accurately, including basic work records.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and explain work clearly.
• Maintain tools and equipment and follow site safety procedures.
