Job description

As a Skilled Plater you will have the opportunity to join a world leading team specialising in fabricating large assemblies to small tolerances for the defence industry. Day-to-day, you'll be working in a small but highly effective team where the highest of standards will be expected from both a technical and behavioural perspective.

Job Details

This role is full time, 36 hours per week and is based on site at Ashton Vale, Bristol.

Responsibilities
  • Fabrication from design drawing and CAD modelling.
  • Working to high quality standards.
  • Capable of reading complex fabrication drawings.
  • CAD experience desirable.
  • Experience of fabrication/plating in the defence industry is desirable.
  • Lifting and Slinging experience and associated qualification beneficial.
Qualifications
  • Time served apprenticeship or similar in plating/fabrication.
  • Essential experience of the Skilled Plater.

  • The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. However, you will be eligible to start on Standard (BPSS) security clearance but will need to obtain Security Check once in post.
