Job Description

Marshall’s Land Systems are currently recruiting for Skilled Paint Sprayers to work within their facility in Cambridge (postcode is CB5 8RX). The role plays a pivotal role in some high-profile military projects, and your ideas and contribution will be valued in a business where people really matter. Training will be provided on the products and there is scope for further development and progression within the Company

PAYE pays £21.81 per hour flat rate (holiday pay is paid on top) or Umbrella pays £30.00 per hour, any O/Time pays £32.72 per hour PAYE or £45.01 Umbrella

Hours: Days is 7.15am – 3.45pm Monday to Thursday with a half day finish on Friday’s

Your responsibilities in this role include

• Spraying components of varying sizes
• Working with a variety of paints from gloss to matt, water based and solvent
• Maintain product certification and approval via regular audits
• Ability to sort all paint defects interior or exterior using various tools and techniques be it by using spray gun, brush head or roller head
• Possess a versatile skill base with the capability to apply these skills across a range of task
• Be fully conversant with all equipment, and tools associated with the Paint Spraying process
• To spray units as per customer specification using electrostatic spray pumps and single/twin pack paints.
• Check and complete all paperwork associated with the Manufacturing data pack
• To support the Production Managers and Team Leaders, ensuring that all Marshall Land System projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standard
• Take an active role in continuous improvements, to include lean and 5s procedures
• Ensure equipment and tooling required is identified to the line manager
