Skilled Operative

We are recruiting for Skilled Operatives in Boston. Working for a recruitment agency on a market leading FMCG food production site.

As a Skilled Operative you will need to:

• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
• Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety standards (HACCP)
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, chilled environment
• Teamwork, reliability, and good communication skills
• Able to lift up to 20 kg

Details of a Skilled Operative role:

• 14:00 - 02:00, 16:00 - 02:00, continental shift pattern 2-2-3 (£14.45 per hour)
• Footwear and locker will be provided
• Training will be provided
• Cold environment
• Location: Boston

Role of a Skilled Operative

• Monitor and ensure the quality of products on a regular basis throughout the working day and make sure it meets specification. Any deviation must be reported to a senior colleague.
• Ensure good hygiene, housekeeping and health and safety practices are maintained at all times in the area
• Completing production records, batch sheets, and traceability forms accurately
• Assisting with basic maintenance or reporting equipment faults
• Adhering to strict hygiene practices (handwashing, wearing PPE, sanitizing equipment).
• Preventing cross-contamination by following allergen control and cleaning procedures.
