Job summary

John Lewis Partnership in Norwich is seeking a warehouse operative to handle stock for multiple channels. The role involves unloading/loading, recording deliveries, moving stock, and preparing items for deliveries, all with a strong emphasis on safety and heavy lifting.

Varied full-time hours (37.5 per week) across seven days, including early starts, late finishes, evenings and weekends. DBS checks and pre-employment vetting may be required, with flexible working where possible.

About the role

Due to working time regulations, applicants must be 18 years or over to apply. You will be responsible for ensuring the warehouse supports all the Partnership channels by handling stock coming in and being sent out of the warehouse. Performing tasks of unloading and loading stock, accurately recording deliveries into the warehouse, moving stock around the warehouse and collecting stock for deliveries. All these tasks are to be performed in a safe manner with an awareness of individual responsibility for health and safety at all times. Please note that this role involves heavy lifting.

Key Responsibilities

• Category B manual UK driving licence (no more than 6 points).
• Previous Warehousing experience.
• Previous Customer Service experience.
