Responsibilities include using manual machines to manufacture parts from technical drawings. Experience in aerospace is preferred, but full training is provided. The position offers a 4-day working week and overtime during busy periods.

Job description

As a Manual Machinist, you will be responsible for producing precision-engineered components to tight tolerances, working from technical drawings and specifications. You will operate a range of manual machines (lathes, mills, jig borers, imperial grinders) to manufacture and repair a wide range of turbine components, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and finish.

If you have any experience within the aerospace market this would be ideal, but we are able to offer full and extensive training.

Package will include:
