Job summary

A leading installation service provider is seeking experienced Kitchen Appliance Fitters in York. You will fit a range of kitchen appliances in new build houses, ensuring all installations meet standards and specifications. Candidates must have a valid CSCS card and own transportation. This role requires strong technical skills in plumbing, electrical connections, and carpentry. Competitive daily rates are offered, and applicants must meet specific insurance and experience requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid all date CSCS card.
• Own large van suitable for transporting kitchen appliances.
• Public liability insurance with a minimum cover of £5M.
• Proven experience of installing kitchen appliances on new build or domestic sites.
• Competent to carry out basic electrical work.
• Strong plumbing skills for connection of washing machines, dishwashers, etc.
• Ability to complete minor carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Installing kitchen appliances including hobs, ovens, and dishwashers.
• Carry out gas, electrical and plumbing connections safely.
• Fit and align integrated kitchen doors with minor carpentry adjustments.
• Ensure installations meet manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain accurate job records and compliance documentation.
• Transport and handle appliances safely between sites.
