Job summary

Readshaw Interiors is seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team at High House Farm, Ilkley. You will fabricate and assemble wooden structures, read drawings, and operate woodworking machinery.

The ideal candidate has experience with hand and power tools, along with familiarity with spindle moulder and sliding table saw, to deliver high-quality cabinets and furniture. A full UK driving licence and reliable commute to Ilkley are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Joiner or similar role.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools.
• Experience using Spindle Moulder and Sliding Table Saw.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to commute to Ilkley.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and shape wood pieces according to specifications
• Assemble wooden components using screws, nails, or adhesives
• Install hardware, such as hinges and handles
• Sand and finish surfaces to ensure smoothness
• Repair or replace damaged wooden structures
• Use Spindle Moulder Machine & Sliding Table Saw to complete projects
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters and painters, to complete projects
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area

Skilled Joiner

Location: High House Farm, Turner Lane, Ilkley LS29 0LJ

Salary: Starting at £15 per hour - can be negotiated dependant on experience.

Vacancy Type: Full-time, Permanent (39.25 hours per week)

Readshaw Interiors are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team. As a Joiner, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling wooden structures, such as cabinets and furniture as well as using machinery within the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have experience working with hand and power tools, as well as the ability to read and interpret drawings. We are ideally looking for someone who has general workshop skills and who has previous experience working with a spindle moulder machine and sliding table saw.
