Job description

We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking individual with a range of horticultural and agricultural skills who wants to work in a progressive and modern family glasshouse cut‑flower and arable business.

Candidates must be physically fit, have a positive attitude, a good level of English, live in the UK and possess a valid and clean driving licence.

Candidates must be able to work in all areas of the business, take instructions, work independently or as part of a team.

Duties will include:

• crop husbandry
• operating planting & grading lines
• moving pallets of crop in and out of growing areas
• setting up irrigation and general maintenance duties
• forklift driving with some tractor work

Candidates must be able to operate and drive a tractor and forklift and hold a current FLT licence. Training will be given in all roles as required.

Saturday work and overtime will be required; Sunday working may be required during peak seasons. Increased pay rates will be awarded on performance.
