Job summary

JN Bentley Ltd is seeking enthusiastic Skilled Operatives with civil engineering and groundworks experience for work around Haslingden and Bacup, across the wider region. You will join a site team delivering groundworks and civil engineering activities on construction sites, with emphasis on safety, quality, and productivity.

The role involves carrying out daily site activities, pours, drainage and pipe laying, and working within a proactive health and safety culture at water-industry projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Skilled Operative on civil engineering or groundworks projects.
• Experience in general civil works, including concrete pours, deep drainage and pipe laying.
• Strong health & safety focus and reporting culture.
• Full UK Driving Licence essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day site activities safely and efficiently.
• Contribute to delivery of works to programme and maintain quality.
• Support site management and team to ensure health and safety compliance.
